In 1994, I decide to learn the body and I join a training center "AFPA"("NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR ADULT VOCATIONAL TRAINING") in Chambéry for a duration of one year. I learn diverse technique of the automobile body, the simple redressage of a wing in the restructuring of a hull(shell) on marble. I cross(spend) my CAP(VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION) with the honors, ending with the best results(profits) of examination of a session of 12 persons.
I return to the active life, having no punishment(effort) to find an employer with several skills in the field of the automobile: the mechanics, the electricity and the body.
During 4 and a half years, until the spring of year 2000, I am used(employed) on a concession CITROEN where I occupy alternately the posts(post offices) of coachbuilder, mechanic, expert technician (further to a training(formation) by the builder(manufacturer)), then receiver of workshop(studio). This period was for me very enriching, I was able to strengthen my skill(competence) already acquired, and also to discover the relations to the clientele, in particular the notions of listening and satisfaction.
From 2000 till 2008 I change employer, I integrate(join) a small Fiat agency into Marcigny ( 71 ) coming to operate owner's change. The structure is smaller and by necessity, more family. She(it) consists of the foreman (who is other one than the new owner having skills confirmed in body and paint(painting)), of a coachbuilder painter, of an apprentice coachbuilder, and I who take the job of mechanic. From time to time, according to the working volume to the workshop(studio), I also make works of body such as preparations for the paint(painting) with the redressage of diverse elements as well as works on marble.
As we have collectors' small percentage among our clientele, I have the opportunity to work on little common(current) automobiles: Lancia Delta Intégrale (limited series verde York), Théma 8.32, Beta Monte-Carlo, Cut 2000, Porsche 911, Rover P6, Morris Minor, etc. …
The fact of working on similar vehicles was only increasing my passion of the former(ancient) and prestigious cars.
Autumn, 2003, I receive Christophe VAISON's call(appeal), character known well in the environment(middle) of the Rallies and Rally-cross in this time(period). He was twice a champion of France of the rallies cross to quote only the most striking of his exploits. He(it) also participates in shootings of movies in quoted(esteemed) by Remy Julienne to make linings(stand-in) of waterfalls by car (James Bond - Golden Eye, Taxi 2 and 3, Michel VAILLANT, etc.)
He suggests me integrating(joining) his team into his brand new workshop(studio), to assemble high-techs prototypes intended for Eurodisney. I accept without hesitating, it is for me a real opportunity to widen still my knowledge. I held(retained) of this collaboration the rigor, concerns(marigolds) of the done well ' work ' with spare parts stemming from the competition, when they are not studied and made on the spot. I am almost going to remain there one year, the time(weather) to make the series of planned vehicles, then as agreed I leave Vaison Sport.
